Everyone's Favorite Part - the fabric
So I know it looks like I'm out of all my fabrics but do not despair. I actually have bolts and bolts of fabric I just haven't had the time to get new pictures put up online. If you are in Austin, I just left a new batch of slings, pacifier clips, and the new fabric samples at the Austin Baby Store. If you are not in Austin please feel free to email me and I will let you know what new fabrics I have. As always thanks for visiting the 360 Bebe Blog and for your interest in 360 Bebe slings.

Fabric
You may have noticed several long time favorite fabrics are no longer available online. Some of these fabrics are still available at Due Maternity and Austin Baby Store.
New fabrics are already here and are available they just haven't been added to my online collection. I hope to have them added to the website in a month or so.

In-home Consultations
Sadly, as the price of gas has increased significantly I can no longer afford to offer free in home consultations. However, consultations will continue to be included with gift certificates which have now been priced to include the travel fee. All gift certificates currently issued will be honored with a free consultation.
I do believe that fit is very important to your experience using a pouch style sling. To help ensure you have the right fit I will be available at Austin Baby Store and Due Maternity a few times a month to help with sling selection, use, and fit. In addition, in-home consultations can still be scheduled, however now for a fee of $10. Appointments for free consultations in my home can be scheduled via email.

I am back from England and busy, busy trying to catch up. In addition, I have had some unexpected medical issues arise with my oldest son. Fortunately it is not serious but it has required several visits to doctors and specialists. So I just ask for continued patience in these next few weeks.
I'm working very hard to get some new slings into the local Austin stores and to schedule in-home fittings. I also recently received an order of organic cotton and I look forward to getting slings made up in this soft eco-friendly fabric.
As always I encourage you to contact me with questions, concerns, or comments.

tummy to tummy with a 3 week old
This video shows a new mom putting her 3 week old newborn into the tummy to tummy position. In this position guide your baby bottom first in between the fabric. If your baby is small or if your sling is too big, your baby will not fit securely in this position.
Cradle Carry with a 3 week old
This video shows a new mom putting her 3 week old in the cradle carry position. The secret to achieving this position is guiding your baby into the sling bottom first. Once your baby is secure in the sling make sure their airway is protected and that you feel your baby is safe and comfortable before using your sling.

Pacifier/Toy/Teether Clips
These are currently available at the Austin Baby Store and will soon be available online!
They are super handy for keeping pacifiers from falling to the floor. Or attach a teether to one end and clip the other end to your sling. And once you no longer need it for your little one, I have found it quite handy for locating keys in your purse. I loop one end around the key ring and clip the other on my purse. No more digging, digging, digging for those illusive keys.

Babywearing Resources
Just wanted to share two great resources . . .
The first is for a yahoo group that connects people who want to swap or sell babywearing products such as slings, wraps, babaywearing ponchos, doll slings etc.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BabywearingSWAP/
The second is for a local group in Austin that helps people learn to use their slings and provides access to a sling library (that allows you to borrow a variety of carriers for a month).

Fabric is here.
The Nikko fabric just arrived but I imagine it will go fast, as I have already had many requests.
Mediums at Due Maternity
I stopped in at Due Maternity today and they have several mediums in stock in case you are looking for this size. Also if you find a sling you like at either Due Maternity or Austin Baby and it's not in your size they can order it for you.

restocking
I"m currently completing the most recent orders and then I will be restocking. As some local moms might have noticed the selection at Austin Baby and Due Maternity is slim. New slings are in the works and new fabrics too. Unfortunately, some popular fabrics are currently unavailable - the Kashmir in the light green print is currently sold out however, it is available in a darker color-way with more brown and turquoise. The other fabric that I'm currently out of is the Nikko. More fabric has been ordered but it is on backorder from the manufacturer and I don't have an estimated ship date yet. I will post as soon as I know. In addition the white solarveil is temporarily not available. It has been ordered but has not shipped. I do have it in black and turquoise.
The other kashmir fabric.

Two new fabrics coming this spring.

a word about fabric . . .
Because I'm a small operation here in the heart of Texas, I don't carry many fabrics online. However, I do have a huge selection of fabrics available and I will work with you to find you exactly what you are looking for.
So if you don't see something you like online don't despair, send me an email and we can work on finding you the perfect fabric for your sling. If I have a fabric in-stock there is no extra charge for a custom sling. There is only an extra fee if I purchase fabric for you, which I'm happy to do. I usually recommend visiting www.reprodepot.com for unique fabrics.
